Cryptographic Services
Scope offers a range of services that involve cryptography. These include secure e-mail designs, secure data exchange and certificate lifecycle management. We can also develop secure bespoke applications to help integrate other products or solutions so that your business can achieve its goals. We are also able to offer services such as security reviews and consultancy on current implemented technologies such as a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Hardware Security Modules, secure email solutions, secure data storage or security of websites and applications using digital certificates. We have gained extensive experience in other environments such as FSA regulated environments regarding secure designs and solutions and are very aware of today's threats that businesses face. We have been involved with secure email and internet solutions, high security remote access solutions and encryption solutions to name a few.
Physical and Logical Due Diligence
It is absolutely necessary in today's environment to ensure that your greatest asset - data, is appropriately classified, controlled and securely stored. It may also be a requirement to store this data externally for cost or capacity reasons. Specific steps must be taken to ensure that your data will be subject to certain security controls so that you can provide assurance to the business and your customers that data is being appropriately secured. To do this, it is necessary to ensure that hosting vendors provide secure data-centres and their management and security, including policies and procedures, meet your minimum security requirements. All Personal data including personal data that is hosted outside the EU, should also be subject to a due diligence exercise to ensure that the data is safe, protected and secured and that the necessary legal arrangements and contracts with the vendors or the country were the hosting resides can be devised and actioned.
